we're planning to have a bbq on saturday from about 5pm onwards as Nick's bday is coming up. as his social secretary I have hijacked his account to place this notice!
we'll get in the usual burgers/sausages/buns etc and put some cold drinks in the fridge, so come along and enjoy. feel free to bring along something a little more alcoholic or with less sugar in!

I have a contact number for a funky phone thing next to his bed if you want to get hold of him. I'll try to keep you updated on his progress, but as you know, I don't post to LJ very often :-/Feeling:  sympathetic |
Kathryn was watching "Shrek 2: Meet the cast" last week. She found it most amusing that Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy were trying to sound like Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey. She was in fits of giggles! I didn't have the heart to tell her :-)Feeling: amused |

We're off on holiday in a week, so don't actually MOVE for real until late august. House-warmings are likely to be end of august, maybe even early september.

Just signed the contracts on our new house. Should exchange (the absolute point of no return) tommorrow, maybe monday, aiming to complete (IE get the keys) on the 26th if that's OK with the vendor, as we're off on our holiday for the first 2 weeks of august anyway!
